How it works…

Methionine – One of the sulfur-containing amino acids that is important for many bodily functions. It acts as a lipotropic agent to prevent excess fat build up in the liver and the body, is helpful in relieving or preventing fatigue and may be useful in some cases of allergies because it reduces histamine release. Methionine works as an antioxidant (free radical deactivator) through conversion of L-cysteine, which helps neutralize toxins.

Inositol – A nutrient belonging to the B vitamins is closely associated with Choline. It aids in the metabolism of fats and helps reduce blood cholesterol. Inositol participates in the action of serotonin, a neurotransmitter known to control mood and appetite. Low inositol levels contribute to a fatty liver that is common in diabetes. Inositol is involved in the synthesis of phospholipids, which are essential to the digestion and absorption of fats.

Choline Aids in emulsifying cholesterol so that it doesnt settle on arterial walls. Choline helps to build cell membranes and facilitates the movement of fats and nutrients in and out of cells. It prevents accumulation of fats in the liver, and is required for the transport and metabolism of fats and cholesterol within the body. It is present in the body of all living cells and functions with Inositol as a basic constituent of lecithin. Choline is associated with the utilization of fats and cholesterol in the body and is essential for the health of the liver and kidneys.
